It's Black Women's Equal Pay Day
Intersectionality is a concept often applied to groups who identify with more than one demographic that has been historically marginalized or discriminated against. For Black women, we have an intersection of belonging to a historically marginalized race as well as a historically marginalized gender.
The effects of that often lead to a "double whamy" of discrimination including unequal pay! As a Black-owned Christian Apparel Company we say "no more" to this every day, but on Black Women's Equal Pay Day, we stand in unity with that message!
